Our annual festival Glampfest 2026 has officially wrapped up — and what a weekend it was! This year’s event was the biggest and best in Glampfest history, with hundreds of festivalgoers coming together for three unforgettable days of music, entertainment, community spirit, and pure festival magic. Who'd have thought we started out with 100 glawning owners ten years ago!
Held from 8–10 May in Scotton near Knaresborough, Glampfest once again transformed the countryside into a vibrant celebration packed with lots of glawnings, live music, family fun, amazing food, traders, performers, and an atmosphere that attendees described as unforgettable.
Standout Moments Across the Weekend
This year’s festival delivered countless highlights, but one performance in particular had everyone talking. Fresh from Britain’s Got Talent, 12-year-old drummer Nancy Tilley stunned a crowded marquee with a truly mind-blowing set that left festivalgoers inspired and amazed. This clip of her has already gone viral on our Glawning Tik Tok channel!
Another huge crowd favourite was the spectacular African Acrobatics fire show, which lit up the festival with jaw-dropping performances and incredible energy. Meanwhile, the Storytellers Street Band kept spirits high all Sunday long, bringing infectious brass-band entertainment and surprise performances as they roamed around the festival site. Primary School Bangers also went down VERY well on Sunday morning.
“Down on the Farm” Theme a Huge Success
The 2026 “Down on the Farm” theme proved massively popular and served as a heartfelt tribute to the local farming community.
Festivalgoers fully embraced the theme, with attendees of all ages going all out for the fancy dress parade. From creative handmade costumes to hilarious farm-inspired outfits, the effort and imagination on display perfectly captured the fun-loving Glampfest spirit. Congratulations to our 5 year old winner who handmade a cardboard tractor as part of his costume!
Families also loved the huge range of interactive attractions across the site, including visiting donkeys, parrots, a mini petting zoo, a rodeo bull duel, and giant hay bale displays that quickly became one of the festival’s most photographed features.
Rain Didn’t Stop the Party
Although Saturday brought some wet weather, it certainly didn’t dampen festival spirits. Attendees embraced the rain in true Glampfest fashion, continuing to dance, celebrate, and enjoy every moment of the weekend in their ponchos and wellies.
That resilience, positivity, and sense of community is exactly what makes Glampfest so special year after year. British weather doesn't control us!
A Huge Thank You
Thank you to everyone involved in making Glampfest 2026 such a huge success — including attendees, performers, volunteers, traders, sponsors, and staff.
Sarah Martin, Glampfest Director, said:
“Every year we’re blown away by the support Glampfest receives, but 2026 really felt special. The atmosphere all weekend was incredible and we’re so proud of what was created together. Seeing so many people enjoying themselves, making memories, and having a laugh is exactly what Glampfest is all about. We are very grateful to our events team at Mighty Events for helping us to achieve such a high standard of festival”
Supporting Dementia Disco
One of the standout successes of this year’s festival was the fundraising effort for official 2026 charity partner Dementia Disco.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of festivalgoers, an impressive £428.51 was raised across the weekend — with additional donations still expected to come in.
The support shown throughout the festival highlighted the strong community heart that continues to sit at the centre of Glampfest. There will always be a charity element to the festival as we try to give a little back.
Capturing the Magic
Official festival photographer Gareth Andrews Photography captured the spirit of the event perfectly through hundreds of stunning images now featured in the official Glampfest 2026 photo album.
From unforgettable performances to emotional moments, colourful costumes, and festival fun, the images perfectly reflect the energy and atmosphere that made this year so memorable.
Looking Ahead to Glampfest 2027
As the dust settles on another incredible festival, planning is already underway for Glampfest 2027 — which will mark the festival’s highly anticipated 10th anniversary celebration.
The next Glampfest will take place from 6–9 May 2027 and it will be the biggest celebration yet, including three nights of camping and even more festival magic.
Early bird tickets are due to be released on 1 June 2026, so fans are encouraged to keep an eye on Glampfest social media channels for updates, ticket announcements, sponsorship opportunities, and festival news.
