In case you hadn't heard, our much-loved North Yorkshire family festival is back for 2026! Set once again in the beautiful countryside near Knaresborough, Glampfest returns for another unforgettable weekend of camping, music, creativity and good old-fashioned outdoor family fun.
What began in 2017 as a small campout of around 100 people — with us making the sandwiches and administering the first aid — has grown into a yearly gathering of more than 1,500 happy campers. Despite the growth, Glampfest still feels like friends getting together in a field — which is exactly how we like it.
What Makes Glampfest Different?
Glampfest isn’t a huge commercial festival. It’s a relaxed, family-friendly weekend where great music, glamping culture and community spirit come together.
Expect artisan food and drink, hand-picked traders, live music, creative workshops and activities for all ages. From handmade crafts and festival fashion to delicious street food and chilled-out acoustic sessions, there’s always something new to discover.
We personally select every trader and performer to keep the atmosphere friendly, welcoming and top quality.
2026 Theme: Down on’t Farm
This year’s theme brings a touch of country life to the festival and a nod to the hard-working farmers all around us, with plenty of country music, line dancing, and farmyard-inspired fun across the weekend. Dust off your boots and get ready to join in!

• Best Dressed Pitch competition — glam up your camp for prizes

• Our famous Glawnings lined up and down the fields creating one of the best glamping sights around
• The ever-popular Glampfest Dog Show, where four-legged festivalgoers take centre stage

Free Activities for Kids & Families
One thing we’re proud of is how much there is for families to enjoy together — and most of our activities are completely free, included in your ticket price.

• Craft workshops and creative sessions
• Storytelling and kids entertainment
• Sports Zone, performances and roaming characters
There’s always something happening to keep younger festival-goers busy while grown-ups relax and soak up the atmosphere.
Turn Up the Glamp
Want the festival experience without the packing stress? You can hire a fully set-up bell tent or Glawning in our luxury glamping village and arrive to a ready-made home for the weekend. It’s the perfect way to add extra comfort and really turn up the glamp factor.

Each year Glampfest supports a cause close to our community, and for 2026 we’re proud to be supporting Dementia Disco, helping bring joy, music and connection to people living with dementia and their families.
