Quick And Simple Breakfast Recipes To Make Your Glamping Experience That Little Bit Tastier
We’re often told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it gives us fuel and energy to keep us going. So, with all the activities planned for the day ahead, it’s a good idea to kickstart your morning with a nutritious and satisfying breakfast.
You can’t go too wrong with the classic crowd pleaser of a full English breakfast. Despite how good it tastes, it can sometimes be a tricky meal to prepare with multiple pans and dishes needed, so this ‘One-pan English breakfast’ is the perfect solution:
All you need: four chipolatas, 4 bacon rashers, 140g of mushrooms, 6 beaten eggs, 8 halved cherry tomatoes and a handful of grated cheese.
Firstly, get a medium sized pan to a high heat then add the chipolatas and fry for 3 minutes. Next add the bacon until it starts to crisp. Then add the mushrooms and cook for a further 3-5 minutes. Drain away excess fat and then evenly spread out the ingredients in the pan.
The next step is to add the eggs and ensure they fill all the gaps surrounding the food in the pan. Gently move the contents with a fork over a low medium heat until it begins to set. Scatter the tomatoes and cheese then grill for two minutes or until fully set. Cut into wedges and serve with your favourite breakfast sauces. All the best elements of a full English in one pan – delicious!
Sometimes a breakfast that requires no cooking and is just ready to eat is a great option. ‘Yoghurt breakfast jars’ are an easy solution for a healthy and hassle free start to the day. These can be prepared before your glamping getaway and just need to be stored in a cool place.
Simply get some mason jars that have closable lids and layer with flavoured yoghurt of your choice. Add fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, peaches, bananas and top with granola or nuts for a crunch.
There are so many delicious and satisfying recipes for breakfast whilst glamping and everyone has their own little twists and ideas, so please share yours with us so we can all add to our collection!
