No awning rail? Other ways to connect

In short

You can use a pole and clamp in a gutter rail, attach to roof bars, connect to a wind-out awning, or throw ropes over the roof and peg them down on the other side.

Gutter rail: pole and clamp

Vehicles with a roof gutter (such as splitscreens, bay windows and T25s) can use a connecting pole held in place with clamps.

Roof bars

The canopy can be attached to roof bars.

Wind-out awning

Most wind-out awnings take the 4mm side of our driveaway kit. See Connecting to an awning rail or wind-out awning.

Ropes over the roof

As a last resort, throw guy ropes over the roof of the vehicle and peg them down on the opposite side.
