How to measure

Measure vertically from the ground to the awning rail, or to the point where the canopy will physically connect.

Standard height canopy: about 1.7m to 2.1m

Suits vans such as the VW Transporter T4, T5 and T6, Ford Transit Custom, Mercedes Vito and Mazda Bongo. Our driveaway extender strip adds about 20cm if your connection is slightly higher.

High roof canopy: about 2.4m to 2.7m

Suits higher vans such as the MAN TGE, Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter and Fiat Ducato. Connecting to a wind-out awning takes you higher: leave the awning wound out slightly to act as an extender, up to about 3.1m.
