Reducer poles: pitching on a smaller pitch

Applies to:Classic Double DoorClassic Triple Door

In short

Reducer poles let you peg a Classic Glawning about 30cm from the edge of the groundsheet, instead of the metre or more guy ropes usually need. That saves a lot of space on tight pitches.

How much space do they save?

Without reducer poles, guy ropes usually need at least a metre. With them, you can peg about 30cm from the groundsheet edge. See How much space do I need on a pitch? for full pitch sizes.

Which tents do they fit?

Classic poled Glawnings (Double and Triple Door). They aren't needed on the GlawningAIR.
